Our server April was great. She was prompt with getting us drinks and an appetizer. We had the Shanghai dumplings which are absolutely wonderful. For our main course I had the Pad Thai, and he had the Szechuan beef, both were amazing! This is definitely some place I’ll be making a point to come back to.

I've been coming here for years, since the old location run by Chef Alex. Shanghai on Elm is a great family run restaurant with good consistent food andfriendly service. Always a fun atmosphere, it's somewhat of a comforting sanctuary for me in Cincinnati. I'm always welcomed by familiar faces and everyone respects my quirky dining habits! That it's open late is an added bonus knowing that if I roll into town late, I can get a hot meal and enjoy a few laughs. Oh, did I mention the cocktails? They don't mess around, the drinks are outstanding.
This is almost like a hidden gem! The staff made my birthday celebration so memorable! This place has something for everyone. Anything that you want you can have it with meat or as a vegetarian meal. They mix and match almost anything you want. The staff was so amazing that they felt more like family then waiters or waitresses. The food was fantastic.
